Hello everyone!
The “Hungarian Sea”, is the people’s name for the Lake Balaton, which is one of Hungary’s most precious Nature’s gift. It is also the largest lake in Central Europe. Thanks to the weather starting to be warmer and sunnier, we went to this place to find some refreshment.
The summer water temperature is around 26 °C, which is warmer than the average air temperature in the morning and in the evening in this period. But these days, it was much cooler and then pretty hard to get into the water.
The place really looks like a beach, except that there is no sand, but still, a lot of people go here in the week-end because it’s not so far for Budapest. To go there, we took a train in the morning for around 1h of travel and we come back in the evening. It was a really cool day with sunny weather. We didn’t stay all the time in the water, there is also a lot of bars and restaurant where you can go and chill, they really benefits from the lake.
This is a really nice place that I highly recommend if you come to Budapest with a nice weather. It’s really beautiful to see what the nature gave to us.
Thanks for reading, bye !
